About Us

Rockin’ 4 Heroes was founded in 2021 by Oro Valley residents Michael and Bonnie Quinn, to honor the First
Responder community for the professional and compassionate care they provided to their son PJ
throughout his courageous fight with cancer. After PJ passed in 2020 at the age of 29, the Quinn’s felt a
strong desire to thank the many First Responders who did so much to help him. Also
long-time supporters of our Military, Veterans and Gold Stars, the Quinn's believed that many others would welcome an
opportunity to thank the men and women who selflessly serve our communities and country. The Rockin’ 4
Heroes concert is held annually on the Sunday of Veteran's Day weekend. This FREE outdoor concert event brings our Southern Arizona communities together in a rockin' celebration to raise awareness of and pay public tribute to all 4 of our Hero groups. In addition, we continue to support our Heroes financially throughout the year with our Hero Fund, by creating original scholarship initiatives at Pima Community College and University of Arizona and by sponsoring First Responder events throughout the year. All this is made possible because of Business Sponsors, private donations and grants. We keep our overhead very low because we have so many dedicated volunteers who bring their dedication and talents to the Rockin' 4 Heroes mission, enabling us to channel more funds directly to our Hero groups.

The 5th annual Rockin' 4 Heroes concert returns to James D. Kriegh Park on Sunday November 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm
